“Bed removal” can mean one mattress or an entire setup. List every part before emailing so the estimate covers the actual job.
Build the bed inventory
| Component | What to note | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Mattress | Size, count, condition | Controls volume and handling |
| Foundation | Rigid, split, platform, adjustable | Changes weight and exit plan |
| Frame | Metal, wood, upholstered | May separate into smaller parts |
| Headboard | Width, height, wall mounting | May need separate access planning |
| Slats and hardware | Loose, attached, bagged | Small parts need containment |
Do not assume disassembly is included
Ask what the crew can separate and what must be ready beforehand. Adjustable bases and powered components can be much heavier than a standard frame. Disconnect power only according to the manufacturer's instructions, and do not attempt a lift that blocks your view or exceeds your safe capacity.
Photograph the assembled bed
One wide photo and one close photo of brackets or powered components can answer questions faster than a long description. Include the doorway and any stair turn if access looks tight.
Use the bed removal page to review scope, then email the component list.
